Shooting: Gangs in Garden Grove?

On Tuesday, August 30th, a 15-Year Old boy was critically injured after a shooting outside of a restaurant in Garden Grove. He was transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange for immediate treatment.

Authorities were alerted around 9:30 P.M. due to gunshots being heard in the parking lot area.

Garden Grove Police Lt. Robert Fowler said that the teen was shot in the chest.

Although no suspects have been identified, Fowler said that the incident may be gang related.

This was not the only shooting incident that occurred in Garden Grove this year.

In April earlier this year, a 15-year old teen gang member was arrested for shooting a 42-year old man in front of Bolsa Grande.
